At The Boobie Files, we don’t shy away from the hard conversations. Our podcast features real people telling real stories—without the filters. We talk about everything: the diagnosis, the treatments, the fears, the victories, and the moments in between that nobody tells you about. Whether it’s finding humor in the hardest moments or crying over the unexpected struggles, we share it all, because every story deserves to be told.
Our Mission
To bring to light the real, lived experiences of those affected by breast cancer, providing a safe and supportive space for people to share their stories, while also raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support services in Australia.
Through candid conversations, we aim to bring more than just awareness. We want to create a space for healing, understanding, and connection. By sharing the truth behind breast cancer, we hope to inspire and support others, while also advocating for better care, research, and awareness.
Meet the host
Michelle Smith
After my personal experience with breast cancer, I realised that too many people only hear one side of the story—the clinical side. But the journey is so much more. It’s emotional, it’s raw, and sometimes it’s even funny. The Boobie Files was born out of a desire to capture these stories, to show that no two experiences are the same, and to provide real support for those walking a similar path.
Through candid conversations, I aim to bring more than just awareness. I want to create a space for healing, understanding, and connection. By sharing the truth behind breast cancer, we hope to inspire and support others, while also advocating for better care, research, and awareness.
